Edward Robinson — Continuity
Jousse Entreprise
With this exhibition, Jousse entreprise opens a new chapter in its history by affirming its
commitment to industrial design, presenting the work of Edward Robinson. The gallery, known
for nearly three decades for its pivotal role in the recognition of 20th-century furniture and its
work around figures such as Jean Prouvé, Charlotte Perriand, Martin Szekely and Philippe Starck,
here extends its approach toward the editing, production, and representation of designers. This
evolution follows a practice grounded in formal rigor, material integrity, and a sustained dialogue
between heritage and present-day creation.
Within this context, Jousse entreprise presents the work of Edward Robinson, a British industrial
designer based in London. The exhibition Continuity brings together Board, Dyad, and Cloche
together at Jousse entreprise, situating these works within a broader reflection on the place
of industrial design today, between exhibition and everyday use, heritage and continuity.
